The Watchtower Society Is The Regimental Flag Of Jehovah's Witnesses

In my research of the Watchtower Society, I found a rather strange statement in the Watchtower magazine. Basically it says that JWs need to pay UNRESERVED LOYALTY to the Watchtower Society. It goes on to say that a soldier always follows his regimental flag and that the Watchtower Society is indeed their flag.

From my experience as a JW I know that the indoctrination process continues to this day that it is vital to PAY UNRESERVED LOYALTY to the Watchtower Organization. Today I understand that saluting a flag is considered to be IDOLOTRY by Jehovah's Witnesses. The watchtower is itself an idol and part of the worship of the Greek Goddess Artemis of Ephesus.

How can this blog be labeled as the truth about Jehovah's Witnesses when you are putting the Watchtower so prominently on there? Jehovah's Witnesses is not all about the Watchtower.

I was raised in the religion and baptized in the 80's but I made the truth my own, not the Watchthower's. That is the difference here.

Hi JWProclaimers, to answer your question, the headquarters of the Jehovah's Witnesses is the Watchtower Organization in Brooklyn, NY, and most folks know the JWs as JWs not Watchtowerites as in the past. Therefore this is the Truth About Jehovah's Witnesses as seen through my eyes.

How important is the Watchtower publication as part of the 'shell game' comprised of a publication, a governing body, and a revised bible? Consider this:

Douglas Walsh Trial - 1954, excerpt:

FREDERICK FRANZ (President 1977 - 1992)

Q. Can you tell me this; are these theological publications and semi- monthly periodicals used for discussion or statements of doctrine?

A. Yes.

Q. Are these statements held to be authoritative?

A. Yes.

Q. Is their acceptance a matter of choice,or is it obligatory on all those who wish to be and remain members of the Society?

A. It is obligatory.

JW Lawyer

Q. Back to the point now, a false prophecy was promulgated?

A. I agree to that.

Q. It had to be accepted by Jehovah's witnesses?

A. That is correct.

Q. If a member ... took the view himself that that prophecy was wrong, and said so, would he be disfellowshipped?

A. Yes, if he ... kept on persisting in creating trouble ... Our purpose is to have unity.

Q. A unity based on an enforced acceptance of false prophecy?

A. That is conceded to be true.

Interesting blog, thanks for sharing. I spent a couple months in AUS studying the Bible with folks and had some interesting studies with a lovely JW family so I'm appreciating some of the insights here.
